DRIED GREEN PEAS MASALA CURRY

Dried Green Peas Masala  IMG_1908 Curry in 15 Minutes ,except Soaking Overnight and with Few  easily available Ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:IMG_1906

1. Dried Green Peas – 1/2 Cup

2. Potatoes -2

3. Tomato’s -2 ( Medium ) or One Big Tomato ( Finely Chopped)

4. Onion – Medium( Finely Chopped)

5. Garlic Cloves – 4 ( Crushed)

6. Pav Bhaj Masala – 1/2 tbsp.

7. Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tbsp.

8. Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tbsp.

9. Salt as Per taste

10. Oil – 1 tbsp.

11. Turmeric – 1/4 th tbsp.

12. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp.

13. Finely chopped Coriander Leaves

14. Juice of Lime – Half.

15. Water – 1 and 1/2 glass ( 16 Ounces)

Method:IMG_1907

1. Soak Green Peas Overnight and Pressure Cook for 4 Whistles along with 2 Potato’s , One Glass Water and litte Salt.

2. Heat 1 tbsp. Oil and Saute Onions with Little Salt , Cumin seeds, Curry Leaves, Green ChIllies ( Optional) and Crushed Garlic.

3. Once Onions are Brown add finely Chopped Tomato’s and Cook Until tomato’s are Soft.

4. Once tomato’s are Cooked add Cooked Green Peas along with Water, Crumbled Potato, Red chilli Powder, Pav bhaji Masala and Red Pepper Flakes.

Check the Consistency and add Half Glass Water.

5. Cook on Medium High Flame for 7 to 10 Minutes. After 10 Minutes switch Off the Stove and add Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves and Squeeze Juice of Lime.

Enjoy with Plain Paratha, Phulka ,Chapathi  or Jowar Roti.
