LEMON PICKLE

Quick Lemon Pickle with IMG_1940 Spices.

You can enjoy the Pickle after 3 Days. Stays good upto  3 Months.

INGREDIENTS:

1.Yellow Lemons – 12 ( 8 Lemons for Pickle and 4 for Juicing)

2.Red chilli Powder – 3 tbsp.

3. Salt – 2 tbsp.

4. Fenu greek Powder – 2 tbsp.

5. Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp.

6. Turmeric – 1/4 tbsp. .

6 . Oil – 4 tbsp. for Seasoning.

7.Cumin seeds – 1 tbps

8 . Hing – Pinch

9. Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp.

10 . Curry Leaves – Few

METHOD:IMG_1941

1.Wash the Lemons and dry them .

2. Cut 8 Lemons into 8 Quarters.

3. Squeeze Juice of 4 Lemons . Add the Juice to Lemons.

4. Now add Red chilli Powder, Salt , Cumin Powder, Fenu greek Powder. Mix well.

5. Heat 4 tbp of Oil and add Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds , Hing and Curry Leaves .

                                    Cool the Seasoning and add to the Lemon Pickle .

                                                             Store in a Clean Glass Jar for more Shelf Life.

IMPORTANT NOTES:IMG_2165

1. Mix everyday for first 5 Days. So all Spices get mixed well with Lime Pieces and Lime Pieces get Softer.

2. Store in a Clean Glass Jar for Long Shelf Life.

3. You can leave on Kitchen Counter or in the Refrigerator.
