I have been making this recipe for several Years with different filling and I tried this time with delicious and flavorful filling with Lentils, Flours, Spices and Lime juice and the taste of our Lunch and Dinner enhanced with these Stuffed Banana Peppers . I found these Non spicy Banana Peppers which can be enjoyed by everyone in the family( even Kids) and can be prepared in less than 30 Minutes with Preparation time of 15 Minutes and Cooking time 10 Minutes . A Healthy recipe cooked with minimum Oil ( 2 tbsp.) for 7 Banana Peppers. It will be everybody’s favorite as a Side dish, I like to experiment with different filling and this recipe is a fine example and no Indian Meal is complete without a side Pickle,Chutney’s or Stuffed Green Chillies.
Recipe for 7 Banana Peppers.
Preparation time : 15 Minutes
Cooking Time : 10 Minutes .
1. Banana Peppers or any Peppers or Big Green Chillies – 7
2. Oil for Pan Frying – 2 tbsp.
3. STUFFING :
1. Urad dal – 1/4 th Cup
2. Sesame seeds – 2 tbsp.
3. Almonds – 20
4. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp.
5. Coriander Seeds – 1 tbsp.
6. Mustard seeds – 2 tbsp.
7. Fenugreek Seeds – 1 tbsp.
Dry roast all the Spices mentioned under Stuffing .Cool them and Mix with 1/4 th Cup Chickpea flour , 1/4 th Rice flour , 2 tbsp. oil , Salt and Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves and Juice of One LIME .
1. Wash Banana Peppers , dry them and make a Slit in the middle with the help of a Knife.
2. Stuff the Banana Peppers with the Stuffing .
3. Heat Pan with 1 tbsp. Oil and Place the stuffed Banana Peppers in a Single Layer . Drizzle Some Oil on each and every Pepper . Close the Lid and Cook on a Medium Flame .
4 In between flip the Peppers . It will take 7 to 10 Minutes to Cook on all Sides .

Its flavor is not very hot and the hotness depends on the maturity of the pepper with the most ripe being sweeter than young ones.
